What kind of experience or background do I need?
The Honey Do Franchising Group is looking for individuals that are skilled businesspeople, not skilled handymen. You will hire multiple handymen to do the physical work. You will need a general knowledge of home improvement and the ability to manage the members of your staff. Your responsibility is to build the business into a successful operation through your management skills. You will be trained on the things you will need to know.
What services would I offer?
You will provide general contracting services specializing in home and business repair, maintenance and remodeling. Our business model is designed to address a list of common problems that need to be fixed around the home--anything from a leaking faucet, a door that sticks, hard to reach light bulbs, yard care and spring cleaning.
Can I set my own rates?
We have developed ”Toms Tool Box”, our estimating software that will be provided for you that will already have rates installed. You will have the ability to adjust these rates according to your needs.
Do I have to obtain a contractor’s license?
Yes. Included in your first week of training is the information you will need to take the state specific General Contractors exam. We have found that your business’s potential for success will go farther if you obtain your license right from the beginning.
